The story
Since 1982, the Trignon family has welcomed guests to La Roseraie, a restaurant and estate set in Modave, Belgium. At its heart is a kitchen driven by a passion for taste. Chef Marie Trignon, who carries forward the legacy of her father Vincent, brings a precise, creative touch to every plate. Her cooking respects the product and follows the seasons, weaving together tradition and modernity with an aesthetic sense that hints at far-flung inspirations.
The restaurant's dining room marries the charm of an era villa with clean, contemporary design. The atmosphere is that of a private home — elegant yet genuinely warm. Guests choose from a menu built around the seasons, with a five-service option starting at €105 and a special lunch available every Friday.
This dedication to quality and atmosphere earned La Roseraie a Michelin star, a recognition affirming its place among notable tables in Belgium's Modern French cuisine landscape. The team's work is also praised by Gault & Millau, and Marie was named Ambassador for Lallier and won the Public Prize in 2023.
Beyond the dining room, the Domaine de La Roseraie offers two unique overnight experiences. Guests can sleep in one of three modern, minimalist guest rooms in the main house, or book a night in a "shelter" — a wooden cabin nestled on the edge of the Saint-Pierre woods, designed to immerse you in nature.
Open from Thursday evening through Sunday lunch, La Roseraie is a place where the pleasure of hospitality and the precision of contemporary gastronomy meet.
