The story
At Le Coin des Saveurs in Verviers (Heusy), chef Michel Norga brings a fresh perspective to modern cuisine. The kitchen works with seasonal produce, crafting dishes that are creative, inventive, and occasionally audacious. The result is a menu that surprises without losing balance—a quality that earned the restaurant a Michelin Bib Gourmand for good quality, good value cooking.
The restaurant occupies a contemporary, refined space that Norga helped renovate. A standout feature is the modular terrace with a retractable roof, perfect for al fresco dining in good weather. Inside, the open kitchen lets guests watch the team at work, while the main dining room and a cellar offer different atmospheres for private parties or intimate meals. The service is professional and attentive, matching the relaxed yet polished vibe.
Two main options guide your meal. The Menu Découverte is a monthly tasting menu available every working day at lunch and dinner, paired with a carefully selected wine flight. The Menu Quinzaine changes every two weeks and is served only at midday from Wednesday to Friday, and on Sunday as a "menu malin" that includes a flute of cava and two glasses of wine. This menu is also available for takeaway on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Both menus reflect Norga’s commitment to quality and value—a philosophy that the Bib Gourmand celebrates. The eclectic wine list completes the experience, offering thoughtful pairings for each course.
Le Coin des Saveurs has built a loyal following among gastronomes in the region and beyond. The combination of precise technique, creative combinations, and an inviting setting makes it a destination for those seeking modern cuisine without pretension. Whether you choose the discovery menu or the seasonal lunch formula, the focus remains on fresh ingredients and well-executed flavors.
