The story
Since arriving in Québec in 2001 with his lifelong partners, chef Patrice de Felice and maître d’hôtel Ludovic Delonca, Jérôme Ferrer has built a restaurant that feels both ambitious and welcoming. At his eponymous address on rue de la Montagne, guests are invited into what the chef calls “our home”—a space that houses multiple dining experiences under one roof.
Ferrer describes his cooking as “artistic and playful,” a forward-thinking approach to modern cuisine that draws on the richness of Canadian ingredients. He thanks the artisans and producers across all provinces and territories who make his work possible. Pastry chef Roland Del Monte, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France, contributes desserts that are as refined as the savoury courses.
The restaurant earned its first Michelin star in 2025 and retained it in 2026, a recognition that underscores the precision and creativity at work in the kitchen. The chef himself is a Maître Cuisinier de France, a Grand Chef Relais & Châteaux, and has been recognized by the Order of Canada for meritorious service. In 2018, this restaurant was voted the best in Canada.
The atmosphere is one of quiet elegance, where the focus remains on the plate. Ferrer, the son of a winemaker and farmer, is committed to culinary traditions even as he pushes them forward. Whether you are seated at La Grande Table Gastronomique or La Table Gourmande, the experience is shaped by the same care: to move, to touch, to surprise.
