The story
Tucked away inside the Wedgewood Hotel, Bacchus Restaurant & Lounge welcomes guests with beautiful Venetian decor, original artwork, and impeccable service. This Michelin-Recommended dining room blends exquisite European-inspired cuisine with fresh, regional ingredients and sustainably sourced seafood. The result is a contemporary French menu that feels both refined and rooted in the Pacific Northwest.
The Bacchus Wine Program is a dynamic collaboration by a team of passionate wine professionals. They offer an extensive selection of local, classic, and new world wines, curated to inspire every dining experience. Guests are invited to speak with Sommelier Mark Taylor, who guides wine selections tailored to personal taste. A special highlight is the Wedgewood x Tantalus Blanc de Noir 2021, a commemorative sparkling created in celebration of the hotel’s 40th anniversary—made from hand-picked Pinot Noir, with notes of yellow raspberry, crushed apples, and fire roasted sourdough.
The dining room is complemented by the Bacchus Lounge, where live piano music fills the air Tuesday through Saturday evenings. Whether you are here for a leisurely dinner, a celebratory brunch, or a late-night cocktail, the atmosphere remains consistently warm and attentive. The restaurant’s Venetian aesthetic, combined with the hotel’s art collection, creates a setting that feels both intimate and grand.
Bacchus serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. The Dinner menu runs daily from 5:30 pm, while the Lounge offers Happy Hour and cocktails until late. Note that reservations in the Dining Room are reserved for guests enjoying the Fine Dining Menu; those wishing to order from the Lounge Menu are seated in the lounge on a first-come, first-served basis.
