The story
At Pizza Nuova on Revoluční in Prague 1, the dough is rolled according to the secret tradition of Verace Pizza Napoletana and fired in an oven brought directly from Naples – fuelled by oak wood. The result is Neapolitan pizza with what the restaurant calls "a fresh natural taste," and the recognition that has followed speaks for itself: a Gambero Rosso slice award, a Gault & Millau toque, certification from the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, and the Ospitalità Italiana quality mark. In the 50 TOP Pizza Europe rankings, Pizza Nuova climbed from 34th place in 2024 to 27th in 2025 – a trajectory that puts it firmly among the continent's serious pizza destinations.
The kitchen is led by Chef de cuisine Tomáš Neradil, with the restaurant managed by Marek Landsinger. Czech meat and charcuterie come from Amaso, a supplier chosen for quality and provenance. Pizza Nuova is located in the heart of Prague. The restaurant is spacious, including a children’s corner, modern, elegant, and the atmosphere is lively and relaxed. The service is professional, helpful, and friendly. Prices correspond to the quality and location. In addition to pizza, guests can also enjoy fresh pasta or take advantage of the tasting menu, which offers small portions. The restaurant also offers a rustic buffet counter – an all-you-can-eat concept consisting of appetizers, salads, and pasta – ideal for groups or families. The ingredients come mainly from Italy and are complemented by fresh local products. The mozzarella di bufala with tomatoes had a great texture and was full of flavor, while the pizza bufala was light and airy, with a puffed edge and sweet tomatoes. The tiramisu offered a fluffy, smooth cream, balanced sweetness, and the desire to take another and another bite. Pizza Nuova is one of the best examples of Neapolitan pizza making outside Italy. The accompanying tasting concept and very decent service underline its value for gourmets and lovers of Italian cuisine.
