The story
Theo sits on iconic Skindergade, serving contemporary European dishes inspired by the team’s favourite spots in Paris, London, Barcelona, Stockholm and Berlin. The atmosphere is informal and vibrant, buzzing with the energy of city life. Bold colours meet Nordic clean lines, with organic shapes and natural materials setting the scene for social dining.
Kitchen chef Andreas Andersen builds a menu of unique dishes served in sharing style. Nordic ingredients are reinterpreted through European flavours, and the menu changes with the seasons to guarantee the best produce. The cooking is dogma-free, combining classic inspirations with modern touches. Guests can choose from a four-course lunch (three servings) or a seven-course evening menu (four servings), with á la carte options also available.
Theo sources ingredients from small, sustainable farms – most local, others from Europe’s finest producers. The team works with care for the environment, letting good raw materials take centre stage. The Michelin Recommended award for 2026 recognises this commitment to quality, atmosphere and city life – a combination that makes a dinner at Theo feel special. The restaurant also offers vegetarian versions and accommodates allergies, and its private room is ideal for larger gatherings of eight or more.
