The story
La Terrasse du Fesch occupies the rooftop of Hôtel Fesch & Spa, a family-run institution in the heart of Ajaccio’s old town. The setting is the first rooftop of its kind in Corsica, built during a major renovation completed in 2019. From here, the view stretches over the rooftops of the historic centre and across the Gulf of Ajaccio – a panorama that defines the dining experience.
The restaurant’s kitchen focuses on modern cuisine, drawing on the flavours and ingredients of the island. While the menu changes with the seasons, the approach remains consistent: clean, precise cooking that lets the produce speak. The dining room is open to the sea breeze, and the atmosphere is both refined and relaxed – a place where locals and visitors gather.
La Terrasse du Fesch earned a place in the Michelin guide as a Recommended restaurant for 2026, a recognition that speaks to its consistent quality and unique location. The restaurant is open for dinner, with lunch service also available, and the terrace is an ideal spot for a long, unhurried meal as the sun sets over the water.
The hotel itself has been in the Vincetti family since 2007, when Sylvie and Philippe Vincetti took over the historic building. Today their children, Laura and Thomas, run the establishment, continuing the work of creating a welcoming, elegant space in Ajaccio. The rooftop restaurant is the culmination of that vision – a place that combines the best of Corsican hospitality with a contemporary edge.
