The story
At the entrance to the Cap d’Antibes, Maison de Bacon has been an icon of French Riviera dining since 1948. Its dining room and terrace offer a sweeping view of the old town, the Massif du Mercantour, and the Cap d’Antibes – a panorama that changes with the light throughout the day.
The kitchen is led by Nicolas Davouze, a Bocuse d’Or France winner, whose cooking is firmly rooted in the sea and the Mediterranean. His menu highlights the freshest seafood and local produce, prepared with precision and respect for tradition. The restaurant’s Mediterranean and seafood focus earned it a Michelin Recommended distinction in 2026, as well as 3 toques and 15/20 from Gault & Millau, which named it a Table Remarquable.
After being taken over by a trio of investors led by Laurent Le Fur (former director of Maison Le Nôtre), the restaurant underwent a careful renovation. New spaces were created: the exclusive Appartement de Victor upstairs and a rooftop lounge and cocktail bar that opens from May to October. The main dining room was refreshed, and the outdoor terrace – with its fairy-tale sea view – remains the heart of the experience.
Maison de Bacon welcomes guests for lunch and dinner seven days a week, offering a chic yet relaxed atmosphere. Whether you come for a set lunch, a private event, or simply a cocktail on the rooftop at sunset, the spirit of this Antibes institution remains constant: generous, marine-inspired cooking in one of the most beautiful settings on the Côte d’Azur.
