The story
At the Hôtel Belesso in Fontvieille, just outside Arles, Belvédère offers a dining experience rooted in the flavours of the Mediterranean. The restaurant has earned a Michelin Recommendation for 2026, a recognition of its refined and original cuisine.
The setting is quiet and generous. The restaurant occupies a glass veranda and an outdoor terrace that opens onto a 7,000 m² park, hidden from the road by ancient stone walls. In warmer months, the garden becomes an extension of the table, with appetisers served among the olive trees and lavender. The atmosphere is warm and unhurried, with attentive service.
The kitchen works with local Provençal ingredients, drawing on the region’s produce and the nearby Camargue. The menu changes with the seasons, offering a Mediterranean cuisine that is both precise and generous. A pastry chef prepares desserts to order, and the wine list highlights southern French estates.
Belvédère is also available for private events – christenings, birthdays, family gatherings – with the possibility of privatising the restaurant for groups of thirty or more. The team adapts the service to seated meals or buffets, always with the same commitment to quality.
Whether you are a guest at the hotel or a visitor passing through the Alpilles, Belvédère is a place to sit down, take your time, and eat well.
