The story
Overlooking the port of Audierne in the Cap Sizun region, Orizhon is a bistronomic restaurant where the focus is on pleasure, discovery, and honest cooking. The team, led by Camila Seixas and Aurélien Digne, welcomes guests year-round in a warm, cosy dining room with a view of the harbour. The ambition is straightforward: to let guests (re)discover the joy of eating well and sharing a moment together.
The kitchen is built on a clear philosophy: elaborate, homemade dishes that remain accessible. The menu changes with the seasons, driven by the chef’s inspiration and the availability of fresh, mostly local produce. This commitment to quality and locality has not gone unnoticed—Orizhon earned a place in the Michelin guide, a recognition the team describes as a wonderful surprise.
Orizhon’s modern cuisine leans heavily on the seafood bounty of the region, with suppliers like Viviers d’Audierne providing ultra-fresh fish. The kitchen also works with certified organic market gardeners, a farm for aged meat, and artisan producers for everything from chocolate to coffee. The wine list is French, selected from small, predominantly organic growers.
The spirit of the restaurant is one of engagement: supporting local producers, minimising waste, and placing human connection at the heart of the experience. Guests consistently praise the refined flavours, the attentive service, and the excellent value. Whether for lunch or dinner, Orizhon offers a genuine taste of Audierne’s coastline, served with a smile.
