The story
In Béziers, Fanny and Pierre Augé run a restaurant that adapts to the seasons and your mood. La Maison de Petit Pierre offers four distinct rooms, each with its own character. There is a patio and garden with Mediterranean charm, sheltered from view, ideal for sunny days and summer evenings. The main dining room features warm, refined decor with large zinc tables, family photos, and a convivial atmosphere. Downstairs, the cellar provides a dimly lit setting for events or tapas evenings. Upstairs, the “appart” feels like home, perfect for family gatherings, friends, or professional meetings.
The kitchen focuses on Mediterranean cuisine, expressed through surprise menus that let the chef take the lead. From October to May, a three-course lunch menu is available Monday through Thursday at €26. The “Je fais ce qu’il me plait” (€47) offers four surprise courses including an amuse-bouche, starter, main, cheese, and dessert. For a more extensive experience, the “Tais-toi et laisse moi faire” (€78) presents six surprise courses with two starters, a fish dish, a meat dish, cheese, a pre-dessert, and dessert. A children’s menu (€20) includes a main, dessert, and drink.
The restaurant also offers takeaway and delivery, including sharing platters, sweet and savory snacks, wines from “Les vignes de Papa,” and cocktails from Pedro Drinkfusion, such as a mojito infused with mint and a gin and tonic infused with rosemary. These are gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan, and additive-free.
La Maison de Petit Pierre has been recognized with a Michelin Recommended award for 2026, a testament to its consistent quality and welcoming atmosphere. Whether for a casual lunch, a festive dinner, or a private event, the restaurant provides a versatile and genuinely hospitable dining experience in Béziers.
