The story
Sandrine and Sébastien welcome guests to Le Clos de la Prairie, a charming hotel and restaurant set on twelve acres of meadow in the heart of a restored 19th-century farm. The stunning surroundings inspired their project: originally purchased in a completely derelict state, the former cow shed has been superbly renovated into an intimate restaurant that seats no more than twenty people. It is a place of serenity and peace, with panoramic views over the pastures.
Sébastien’s cooking is guided by the seasons. Everything is prepared with a passion for fresh market produce, creating dishes that are “deliciously inventive.” This modern cuisine has earned the restaurant a recommendation in the Michelin guide. Guests enjoy the warm decor of the dining room and, on sunny days, the terrace with its stunning meadow views. Dinner is served every evening and Sunday lunchtime, offering a quiet, convivial atmosphere.
Sandrine greets each guest with a warm welcome and ensures discreet, attentive service. Gourmet conviviality is at the heart of the experience. Le Clos de la Prairie is a destination for those who appreciate quality and tranquillity – a place where the cuisine, setting, and hospitality come together seamlessly.
