The story
At Les Gourmands Disent, Nadine and Laurent welcome guests with a clear vision: that cooking should, as often as possible, be a pure pleasure—not an obligation or a sacrifice to convenience. Their approach is rooted in taking time and working with good seasonal products, a philosophy that has earned the restaurant a Michelin Recommended distinction.
The restaurant’s modern cuisine unfolds over a minimum two-hour experience, where each dish is thought out with passion and each dessert promises sweetness. The menu is designed to be discovered and savored at a gentle pace, making it a place for unhurried enjoyment.
Current offerings include starters like white asparagus with Bayonne ham, grapefruit pearls, and green mayonnaise, or a beetroot cushion with fresh goat cheese, trout gravlax, and yogurt sauce. Main courses feature braised lamb gigot with turnip purée, brown butter, crunchy peas, and a thyme and rosemary jus, alongside a mosaic of pollock with seaweed, cauliflower mousseline, and a citrus and ginger butter. Desserts include the Marcus—with aloe vera, honey, sage, and rosemary—and the Anselme, combining strawberry, rhubarb, and Tonka bean.
The restaurant operates Wednesday through Saturday evenings from 19:30 to 20:30, with additional lunch service on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 13:15. Outdoor seating is available, and guests are asked to note any food intolerances or allergies when booking.
