The story
Le Bistro du Clos is set in the heart of Le Rouret, a village between Grasse, Cannes and Nice. The restaurant occupies the south wing of La Maison du Terroir, a short walk from the Clos St. Pierre and the Hôtel du Clos. Inside, a room of fifty seats wraps around a central bar, and a large patio enclosed by stone walls is shaded by trees. The atmosphere is authentic and welcoming, described as “Provençal Vintage.”
The menu changes with the seasons, built around ingredients sourced from local producers. The restaurant’s philosophy is to promote local products “in a fair and true way.” This commitment to straightforward, regional cooking has earned Le Bistro du Clos a Michelin Recommended distinction, a recognition of its consistent quality and respect for the land.
Le Bistro du Clos is part of a small hospitality group that also includes the Hôtel du Clos, allowing guests to enjoy the calm of the Provençal countryside while being within easy reach of the coast and the perfume capital of Grasse. The bistro is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
