The story
On the port of Le Croisic, Le Lénigo welcomes guests into a maritime, boat-chic atmosphere with varnished wood, comfortable cabins, and a terrace overlooking the Pen-Bron peninsula. Marie-Claude and Ronald, along with their team, offer an experience rooted in the marshes, oceans, and terroir of Brittany.
The menu is built around seafood, with dishes like sardines in tempura with a tangy cream and beetroot hummus, or ceviche of tuna with a red tiger's milk, beetroot, and jalapeño. Main courses include skate wing with Thai basil broth, confit fennel, and crunchy vegetables, or snacked maigre with Aquarello risotto, toasted pine nuts, and chayote. For those seeking a different protein, there is Ibérico presa with orange carrot purée and pak-choi, or a crispy-melted veal sweetbread with aniseed jus and caramelized onion tart.
Desserts range from a Paris-Le Croisic with salted butter caramel to a black forest sphere with vanilla cloud, or a strawberry pavlova with basil and lime sorbet. A children's menu, the "Petit skipper," offers a composed salad, chicken skewer, or fish fillet with butter and pasta or homemade fries, followed by popcorn ice cream.
Le Lénigo has been recognized with a Michelin Recommended award for 2026, a nod to the quality and consistency of its cooking. The restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner, and also offers takeaway.
