The story
On the island of Porquerolles, La Pinède is the restaurant of the Mas du Langoustier estate. Shaded by pines and close to the sea, it offers a dining experience rooted in the South of France. The chefs believe that elegance comes from the natural taste of fresh, seasonal ingredients. Their cooking is defined by sun-drenched tomatoes, fragrant olive oil, a velvety bisque, hints of lavender, and subtle herbs – Provence inscribed on every plate.
The menu changes with the seasons, always refreshing and Provencal in accent. A specialty is the whole langouste or grilled fish, perfect for sharing. Alongside, vegetarian compositions, quality French meats, aged cheeses, and gourmet desserts create a balanced meal. The kitchen balances simplicity of flavour with refinement. The restaurant is open from April to September for lunch and dinner (dinner by reservation only).
The bar takes its name from François Joseph Fournier, who gave the island as a wedding gift to his wife Sylvia, founder of the Mas du Langoustier. It is a peaceful spot under the pines with a view of the bay, ideal for a sunset cocktail. The drinks blend garden aromatics with global spices.
La Pinède holds a Michelin recommendation, recognising its dedication to quality and the distinct character of its island location. It is a place where Provencal cuisine and modern sensibilities meet the tranquillity of the Mediterranean.
