A Family Story Since 1948

Restaurant Bonnet has been a fixture in Itxassou since Joseph and Jeanne Bonnet opened their small auberge in 1948. Over the decades, the business has passed through the family, each generation adding its own touch while preserving the original spirit. Today, chef Beñat Bonnet and his partner Sandrine run the restaurant, with Beñat’s parents Jean-Paul and Maika still nearby. The restaurant is the heart of Maison Bonnet, which also includes two hotels and a reception farm.

A second dining room is available for group meals. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, with a break on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
