Deep in the Reginu valley, the farm inn L'Aghjalle is first and foremost a family story. The Savelli family has owned this agricultural property since 1600, but it was in 1995 that they opened a farm inn, adding six guest rooms in two renovated buildings a decade later. The domaine sits on an “aghja” – an ancient threshing floor – that also serves as a spring-fed orientation table.

At the table, the kitchen serves a Corsican cuisine, revisited and seasonal. You can taste meat from the farm’s own livestock, along with vegetables and fruit grown naturally on the property. Local Corsican producers round out the menu. The result is a cuisine of the land: fresh, honest, and full of character.

In 2024, L’Aghjalle earned a Bib Gourmand from the Michelin Guide, a distinction for restaurants offering “carefully prepared food at moderate prices.” The recognition fits naturally here: this is not gastronomic cooking, but a savoury, local terroir cuisine that lets the ingredients speak.

The guest rooms offer air conditioning and access to a garden with terrace. Waking up here means finding yourself in the heart of a Natura 2000 zone, surrounded by the finest hiking trails in Balagne – with birdsong and the calm of nature as your alarm.

The menu-carte is set at 40 euros, with a choice of starter, main, cheese and dessert. The selection changes with the garden: veal, olive oil, fruit, vegetables – all from the farm. Du frais, du vrai.
