The story
Béatriz brings vibrant Mexican cooking to Lille, anchored by chef Manon Liétard’s background at La Güerita. She expanded her culinary playground onto Boulevard Lebas, naming the project after the singer Beatriz Adriana to match its energetic pace. The menu builds on street food foundations while introducing refined techniques that transform simple ingredients. Her approach treats Mexican cuisine as a flexible canvas rather than a rigid tradition.
The kitchen highlights raw and cooked proteins wrapped in house-made corn tortillas. A crunchy tostada layers pollack with green mayo, salsa macha, and pomelo, while another variation pairs steamed cod with cherry rhubarb sauce and elderflowers. You will also find grilled cos lettuce topped with mushy peas and feta, finished with spicy Belgian condiments from Swet. A double chocolate mousse studded with toasted hazelnuts and fleur de sel closes the meal.
Visitors navigate around a zellige-tiled service bar that anchors the main dining room. Exposed brick walls and warm lighting frame a tightly guarded outdoor terrace where guests gather for margaritas and fresh ceviche. The layout encourages counter dining while keeping the patio reserved for those seeking a more relaxed pace. Recognition from Le Fooding reflects how this compact space balances bustling service with consistent Mexican flavors.
