The story

Pulpe Lille – Modern Bistro with Michelin Recognition in Vieux-Lille

A convivial bistro in the heart of Vieux-Lille

Pulpe is a modern bistro on rue Saint-André, where the kitchen and the wine list are treated as equal partners. The name itself — “pulp” — hints at the restaurant’s core idea: a bridge between two universes, cuisine and wine, brought together in a warm, welcoming setting.

The team met in Paris at the three-Michelin-starred L’Astrance, then honed their craft alongside several other Michelin-starred chefs before moving to Lille to work at the acclaimed Rozo. Their shared experiences with inspiring chefs led them to open Pulpe, a place that reflects their own values and journey. The result is a short, seasonal menu built around “beaux morceaux” (fine cuts) and reawakened bistro classics, served in a relaxed atmosphere.

The wine list here is personal, shaped by encounters with passionate vignerons and vignerones, and curated to match the kitchen’s modern cuisine. This thoughtful approach has earned Pulpe a Michelin Recommended distinction for 2026.

Open for lunch and dinner from Thursday through Sunday, and for dinner only on Wednesday, Pulpe is a neighbourhood spot that feels both refined and unpretentious — exactly the kind of place that makes Vieux-Lille worth a detour.
