The story
Just outside Lille, in the quiet suburb of Marcq-en-Barœul, Rozó occupies a former printworks. The industrial bones—brick walls, striking metal framework, and generous glass roofs—have been transformed into a space that feels both spacious and intimate. With around forty seats, walnut tables, and soft tones, the atmosphere is deliberately hushed and welcoming.
The experience begins on a mezzanine turned winter garden. This planted, glass-walled space acts as a gentle transition from the outside world into the calm of the dining room. The restaurant’s position near a small river and within a village-like neighbourhood adds to the sense of escape.
Behind the stove is chef Camille Pailleau, who together with Diego Delbecq drives the kitchen. Their cooking is firmly modern, drawing on the region’s traditions without being bound by them. The restaurant’s two Michelin stars—awarded for “excellent cooking”—reflect a kitchen that balances precision with a sense of place.
Upstairs, a private salon seating six to twelve guests offers a cosy option for family meals, dinners with friends, or professional gatherings. The service throughout is guided by comfort and proximity, letting guests settle in and take their time over the meal.
Rozó is open Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, and Thursday through Saturday for lunch and dinner. Reservations are secured by a bank imprint—not a charge—and can be modified or cancelled up to 48 hours ahead.
