The story
At 4 place Philippe-Lebon in central Lille, Restaurant Suzanne presents a refined take on modern cuisine. The team describes their cooking as gastronomic and gourmet, with clear Nordic inspirations. The setting is deliberately elegant yet welcoming, built around raw, natural materials, clean lines and warm colours. Outdoor seating is available, and the air-conditioned dining room also accommodates private parties.
The kitchen works with a short, seasonal menu built on fresh produce. The result is a focused selection that changes with the market.
Suzanne offers a lunch menu and a tasting menu. Lunch is available in two or three courses, with choices between meat and vegetable versions. Dishes such as trout with carrot and horseradish, or pork with potato and condiment, reflect the restaurant’s clean, precise style. The tasting menu, at €65, opens with a signature waffle and moves through courses like asparagus with egg yolk and herbs, kohlrabi with langoustine, and pig with Little Gem lettuce. A vegetarian tasting menu is also available on request. Dessert is apple with Dulcey and tonka, followed by petits fours. A drinks pairing is offered at €35.
Suzanne’s consistent quality and clear identity earned it a place in the Michelin guide as a Recommended restaurant. The award underlines the restaurant’s commitment to modern cuisine and its ability to deliver a memorable meal in a relaxed, well-designed environment.
The restaurant is open for dinner, and reservations are made through the website. Gift cards are also available. For now, there are no special experiences on offer, but the core dining experience stands on its own.
