The story
Le Saint-Martin has long been a fixture on the Montbéliard dining scene, but a new era began in November 2025. The restaurant reopened under new ownership, with chef and proprietor Luca Musumeci now at the helm. Located at 1 rue du Général-Leclerc in the heart of the Doubs region of Franche-Comté, the restaurant quickly earned a place in the Michelin Guide 2026, confirming its status as a destination for refined dining in the area.
The kitchen’s approach is anchored in freshness and seasonality. During the week, the Menu Affaires is served at lunch, crafted daily according to what arrives from the market. The menu changes every day, offering a gastronomic discovery at 29 € per person (excluding drinks). For those who wish to explore further, the wine list is a serious affair: the sommelier has assembled over 300 references, alongside a thoughtful selection of whiskies and digestifs, ready to pair with each course.
Beyond the main dining room, Le Saint-Martin offers a private salon that seats up to twelve people, ideal for business lunches or dinners requiring discretion and comfort. The restaurant also operates as a caterer for receptions, weddings, family celebrations, and corporate events, preparing custom quotes based on the client’s desires and budget. Whether for a quiet weekday lunch or a larger gathering, the team adapts to the occasion.
