The story
At Les Grands Arbres, the kitchen focuses on inventive, seasonal cooking built around a majority of locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant, part of the Hôtel Spa Verte Vallée, sits within the leafy grounds of the Parc Albert Schweitzer in Munster. Diners can choose between a cosy interior and a terrace when weather permits.
The menu changes regularly. Each evening, the “Petits Arbres” menu offers a fresh selection, while the “Grands Arbres” menu presents the chef’s monthly gastronomic creation in three, four, five or six courses. Vegetarians have a dedicated menu, and children are introduced to fine dining through a menu designed just for them.
The restaurant describes its ambiance as “cosy et chaleureuse” – warm and inviting. Service runs Monday through Saturday evenings by reservation only, with the restaurant temporarily closed on Sundays. Whether for a full dinner or as part of a half-board stay, the experience is relaxed and focused on flavour.
Les Grands Arbres has earned a Bib Gourmand from the Michelin Guide for 2026, a distinction awarded for good quality, good value cooking. It reflects the restaurant’s consistent ability to deliver thoughtful Modern Cuisine in an unpretentious setting – the kind of place where local produce and careful technique speak for themselves.
