The story
Since June 2024, Le Beau Rivage has brought a new energy to the shores of Lac de Guerlédan in Caurel. The restaurant, recently recognized in the Michelin guide, offers a bistronomic experience that balances refined cooking with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The setting is central: floor-to-ceiling windows frame the lake, making the natural landscape a key part of the meal.
At the helm is Chef Teddy Le Padellec, whose passion for Breton terroir and local produce drives the kitchen. He describes his role as a mentor, instilling in his team a dedication to precise technique, impeccable service, and genuine hospitality. The result is a menu that changes with the seasons, highlighting fresh ingredients from nearby producers. Guests can choose from a Découverte menu, a Chef’s menu, or a summer Carte Brasserie, each reflecting the chef's commitment to substance over flash.
Beyond the food, Le Beau Rivage takes care of the details. The bar creates daily cocktail discoveries, and the wine list is built around passionate, small-scale growers. Whether you are stopping in for a midday meal or an evening with friends, the restaurant’s generous, market-driven modern cuisine and attentive service make it a genuine destination on the lake.
