The story
In the heart of Nîmes, at 7 rue de Bernis, Menna is the project of Clémence and Jonathan. Clémence, a pastry chef by training, leads the kitchen, preparing everything from the daily bread to the final dessert. Jonathan, equally experienced in both kitchen and service, works the front of house, guiding guests through their meal with care. Together, they have created a restaurant that feels both ambitious and genuinely hospitable.
The cuisine is modern and Mediterranean, built on seasonal produce, local meats, and fish often sourced from the nearby coast. Every dish is made in-house, with an emphasis on quality and sincerity. The menu changes with the market, offering plates that are refined without pretension. A starter of cauliflower textures with French caviar might lead to roasted duck breast with bay leaf gnocchi and a redcurrant jus, followed by a Piedmont hazelnut dessert with Guanaja chocolate and a yuzu caramel. A lunch menu is available (except Sundays and holidays), and a tasting menu called “Version Découverte” offers a full journey through the chef’s vision.
The dining room is air-conditioned and elegantly appointed, with an outdoor terrace for warmer days. The space is also available for private events of 16 or more guests. Menna is wheelchair accessible and welcomes dogs, adding to its inclusive, relaxed atmosphere.
Menna’s quality has been recognised by the Michelin guide, earning a Recommended distinction for 2026. It is a place where Clémence and Jonathan’s love for their craft is evident in every detail, from the bread on the table to the final bite of dessert.
