The story
On the edge of the golf de Limère, midway between the Orléanais and the Sologne forest, La Table occupies a modern, welcoming space that mirrors its surroundings. The kitchen draws on the region’s hunting traditions and nearby Loire fishing, turning wild game and river fish into a refined, seasonal modern cuisine.
Christophe Hay, twice Michelin-starred at Fleur de Loire in Blois and named Cuisinier de l’Année 2021 by Gault & Millau, oversees the kitchen. At Orléans, he has placed the day-to-day direction in the hands of Loïs Bée. A native of the Loiret, Bée trained across France before returning home; Gault & Millau named him one of its “Grands de Demain” in 2023. Both men share a deep commitment to local sourcing and respectful cooking. “We are more than a team, we are a family,” says Hay, citing the values of rigour and respect for products, people, and environment that he learned during his years with Paul Bocuse.
The restaurant holds one Michelin star, and the tasting menus – available in four or seven services – showcase the kitchen’s precision and sense of place. Optional wine pairings or a premium wine flight heighten the meal. The seven-service menu is described as a gastronomic score in multiple movements, balancing finesse with the bold, earthy flavours of the Loire valley.
La Table welcomes guests for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday, with closures on Sunday and Monday. Annual breaks occur in early January, mid-August, and early November. Reservations are recommended.
