The story
Just off the Champs-Élysées, 24 - Le Restaurant is an intimate, art-filled address where ambitious cooking and a rotating gallery of contemporary works share the stage. The space, recognized by the Michelin guide, is defined by a palpable sense of generosity—in the cooking, the welcome, and the ever-changing art on the walls.
The kitchen is led by Chef Erwan Merdrignac, a 2006 winner of the prestigious Prosper Montagné prize, whose style is rooted in the rigour and terroir-driven philosophy he learned alongside chefs like Yannick Alleno. His cooking is described as ambitious, modern, and seasonal, putting the taste of fresh produce first.
At the front of the house, Hakim Seghaier brings over two decades of experience from houses like Taillevent. His warmth and deep knowledge of Languedoc wines guide the experience, making the pairing as thoughtful as the cuisine itself.
The menu changes with the seasons, featuring dishes that are both generous and precise. The restaurant’s description of a meal here—from the scent of thyme-smoked prawns to the texture of a crispy-yet-melting main course—paints a picture of cooking that is both comforting and refined.
The walls are a gallery in constant flux, with works from artists like Gabrielle Thierry, whose synesthetic paintings explore the colour of sound. The art is for sale, and the atmosphere is one of relaxed discovery, where the pleasure of the table and the pleasure of looking are one. A summer terrace offers a quiet spot for the warmer months.
