The story

Bistrot Augustin Paris – Michelin Recommended Bistronomique on Rue Daguerre

On the lively Rue Daguerre in the 14th arrondissement, Bistrot Augustin occupies a spot that feels both local and polished. The dining room is chic and contemporary, a fitting backdrop for the bistronomique cooking of chef Vincent Deyres, who arrived from Villa Corse.

The menu changes monthly – a fixed-price Menu Carte at 42€ for entrée, plat, dessert – alongside daily suggestions. A terrine de faisan aux pistaches might appear, or the restaurant's "already famous" grilled pork chop with truffle-scented mashed potatoes. The kitchen leans into the kind of generous, precise French cooking that has earned the address a Michelin Recommended distinction.

Bistrot Augustin is part of the group Les Maisons de Guy Martin, which includes Le Grand Véfour and A Noste. The team – Julien, Roberto and the rest – keep the place running from morning until late, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and a reduced afternoon menu for smaller appetites. It is open Monday to Saturday, closed Sunday.
