The story
Bloom Garden is the restaurant of the Bloom House hotel in Paris, a space where the Mediterranean seems to have drifted north. The dining room is dressed in colorful tiles, zellige walls, and soft-toned rugs, while a flowered arbor and a central basin define the inner garden. When the weather cooperates, that courtyard becomes a sunny, transportive escape. The restaurant earned a Michelin Recommended distinction in 2026, a recognition that aligns with its precise, ingredient-driven approach.
At the helm is young chef Raphaël Gerby, who describes his cooking as “une cuisine d’émotion au rythme des saisons.” He trained under Laurent Poitevin, Christophe Saintagne, Frédéric Anton, and Olivier Streiff, building a philosophy rooted in respect for the product and the artisans who grow it. His brigade shares a commitment to food that is “lisible, sincère et profondément juste” – readable, sincere, and deeply honest. The result is modern cuisine that feels both refined and unpretentious, with an emphasis on vegetables, balance, and subtle emotion rather than showmanship.
Bloom Garden serves a seasonal carte for lunch (Monday–Friday) and dinner (Tuesday–Saturday). The menu changes regularly, drawing exclusively from rigorously selected ingredients. The chef’s plates are described as “ensoleillées” – sun-drenched – and aim to awaken the palate with clean, balanced flavors. The bar, open daily from 10:00 to 23:30, offers classic cocktails alongside original house creations, and is open to non-hotel guests as well. Whether for a midday pause or an evening meal, the atmosphere remains elegantly bohemian, with an understated warmth that lets the food speak.
