The story

Bonhomme Paris - Modern Cuisine Bistro and Wine Cave in the 10th Arrondissement

Bistro Vivant

On rue du Faubourg-Poissonnière, Bonhomme lives up to its name. This is a welcoming, unpretentious bistro where the mood is convivial and the kitchen hums with purpose. Chef Maksym Zorin draws on the best of French terroir for his creative, market-driven modern cuisine. The team calls it “bistronomie accessible et simplicité dans l’assiette,” and the Michelin inspectors have taken notice, awarding it a Recommended status for 2026.

At the Table

Zorin’s menu changes with the seasons, but always centres on quality produce and bold, clear flavours. At lunch, a daily formule offers a short, affordable way in. For dinner, the Menu Découverte (5 courses, 80 €) is the full expression of his style, with an optional wine pairing (5 glasses, 40 €) selected by sommelier Kyllian Vrignaud.

Recent starters include a crisp romaine salad with green beans, cherries and fresh cheese; confit beef ravioli with carrot and peanut; or marinated maigre with rhubarb and piri-piri. Mains range from gnocchi with walnuts, peas and goat’s curd to rouget cooked over flame with rocket cream and pine nuts, or a pressed duck and guinea fowl with roasted artichokes. Desserts lean French-classic with a twist: chocolate praline with blueberries, strawberry pavlova, or a delicate basil-scented fraise.

The Wine Cave

Bonhomme is as much a wine destination as a restaurant. Vrignaud’s all-French list features more than 100 references, spanning bio, biodynamic and conventional estates. Wines-by-the-glass start at 7 €, and the pairing menu is built with verve and precision.

A Place to Gather

The interior, designed by Atelier Étude, mixes exposed stone walls with emerald zellige tiles and an open kitchen — warm and timeless. Upstairs, two modular private rooms can host up to 20 guests on a single table, ideal for celebrations or business dinners. The team crafts custom multi-course menus with audacious wine matches for such events.

Open Tuesday to Saturday, noon to midnight, with outdoor seating in fine weather, Bonhomme is the kind of neighbourhood bistro you return to — for the food, the wine, and the easy company.
