The story
Bruno Laporte and Florentin Fraillon run this intimate gastronomic address in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. They describe their table as “polissonne” – mischievous – and their modern cuisine menu indeed chahutes les codes, upending conventions and surprising the senses with flavour and care.
The menu changes with the seasons, following the arrivals of their producers, so each visit offers something new. The wine list, selected with passion, offers bottles by the glass or the bottle, and the non-alcoholic drinks are equally thoughtful.
The space, which can be privatised for lunch or dinner, is designed for a discreet, personal experience. Chenapan has earned a Michelin Recommended distinction, a recognition that aligns with its quietly ambitious, ingredient-led cooking. Whether for a weekday lunch or an evening out, this is a place where the cooking speaks for itself.
