The story
At the foot of the Champs-Élysées, in the hushed 16th arrondissement, the restaurant Edith reworks French classics with a light, modern touch. The kitchen’s philosophy is simple: deep respect for the product and the season. That sincerity has earned Edith a place in the Michelin guide and recognition from the Collège Culinaire de France – two signs that the cooking here is both honest and accomplished.
The menu at Edith is built around French gastronomy, but never feels heavy. At lunch, the chef proposes a daily carte that balances elegance with generosity. In the evening, the focus shifts to sharing plates – small, flavourful bites meant to be picked at over a drink, perfect for unwinding after a day in the city. The spirit is “gourmande et élégante”, as the restaurant puts it.
Breakfast is a buffet of house-made preparations and seasonal produce, available to hotel guests and outside visitors alike. No reservation needed – just walk in between 7 am and 10 am on weekdays, or 7:30 am to 10:30 am on weekends. Lunch runs Monday to Friday from 12 pm to 2:30 pm.
From 4 pm to 10 pm, the evening carte offers a relaxed way to transition from day to night. The dishes are designed to be shared, making it a natural spot for colleagues or friends to linger over a few plates and a glass of wine.
Edith’s dining room can also be privatised for celebrations or business occasions. The restaurant provides a versatile setting, with the team on hand to tailor the experience to your needs.
Set in the elegant Padam Hotel, just steps from the Triangle d’Or, Edith is a calm, intimate address for French cuisine that lets the ingredients speak.
