The story

Épisodes Paris – Michelin-Starred French Cuisine in an Intimate 16-Seat Setting

An Intimate Stage for French Gastronomy

On a quiet street in the 17th arrondissement, Épisodes operates with the conviction that a great meal thrives on closeness. The dining room seats just sixteen guests, a deliberate choice that strips away distance between kitchen and table. The atmosphere is warm, refined, and unhurried—what the team calls “un écrin chaleureux et raffiné,” a warm and refined jewel box. Here, the focus is entirely on the plate and the people sharing it.

Two Meilleurs Ouvriers de France at the Helm

The kitchen is led by chef Guillaume Goupil, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France, whose cooking is described as “percutante par sa finesse” – striking in its finesse, balancing classic technique with modern sensibility. He is joined in the dining room by Yoann Gregory, also a MOF, who oversees service with professionalism and humility. Together, they define “la table à la française,” a French table that is both generous and exacting. Pastry chef Alexandre Lauret completes the trio, crafting desserts that close each meal with precision.

A Menu Built on Precision and Seasonality

Épisodes presents its story in two tasting formats: the Menu Meissonier (five courses) and the Menu Épisodes (seven courses). The cooking is grounded in French foundations but never predictable. Recent dishes have included spider crab with cauliflower and a head vinaigrette; spring cabbage with morels and smoked eel; brill with potato, fava beans, and sea urchin butter; lobster with a jus of rhubarb and celery; and veal sweetbread with grilled fondant, asparagus, and a kumquat condiment. Each course shows a kitchen that respects ingredients while searching for new harmonies.

The bread and brioche are baked in-house by Remy, and the butter is a half-salted Normandy variety. A wine pairing option of 95€ per person complements the meal, reflecting a carefully curated list.

Michelin Recognition in a Personal Setting

In 2026, Épisodes was awarded a Michelin star, a recognition that aligns with the restaurant’s quiet ambition. The star speaks to the high quality of cooking, but the experience itself remains intimate—a single room, a focused team, a menu that changes with the seasons. This is not a place for grand gestures; it is a place for sincere, accomplished French cuisine, served without fanfare but with unmistakable skill.
