The story
Etsi is not one restaurant, but three. In the 18th arrondissement, Le Bistro and L'Ouzeri sit a few streets apart, while Le Traiteur operates in the 5th. Together, they form a small group that brings the spirit of Greece to the heart of Paris. The cuisine is authentic, generous, and deeply personal.
The story begins with Mikaëla, the chef. After training with Michel Rostang and Cyril Lignac, she forged her own path. Her cooking, she says, is "cooking from the heart" – one that leaves room only for what is true and simple, a simplicity that is both mastered and generous. Le Bistro, the first address, is a convivial place where plates are shared, inspired by her roots. A few streets away, L'Ouzeri recreates the atmosphere of a Greek taverna, warm and welcoming for friends and family. Le Traiteur is the third member of the family, a shop where you can pick up Greek dishes to take away, a lunch box for midday, or work together to create custom catering for events.
The atmosphere at each address reflects its purpose. The bistro is for sharing, the ouzeri for lingering, the traiteur for taking the same cuisine home with you. The common thread is a heartfelt, unpretentious approach to Greek food that has earned the restaurant a Michelin Recommended distinction.
Whether you come for a dinner with friends, a family lunch, or to order a catering buffet for a private event, Etsi offers a genuine taste of Greece in Paris. The three locations – Le Bistro at 23-25 rue Eugène Carrière, L'Ouzeri at 41 rue du Ruisseau, and Le Traiteur at 241 rue Saint-Jacques – each have their own character, but the cuisine is the same: authentic Greek, made with care.
