The story
At the edge of the Bois de Boulogne, in a charming Normandy-style building that once served as the estate’s dairy, La Ferme du Pré offers a different kind of experience from its three-starred neighbour, Le Pré Catelan. Chef Frédéric Anton conceived this table with a family spirit, celebrating a generous and inventive cuisine rooted in French terroir.
The setting is deliberately rustic and welcoming. Inside, vintage dishware, copper pots, and terracotta tiles create an atmosphere that feels both authentic and refined. Outside, a large terrace opens onto a garden, offering a quiet moment in the heart of nature.
The kitchen focuses on local, seasonal produce, turning classic French dishes into something both comforting and surprising. The website describes the cuisine as “authentique et conviviale” – authentic and convivial – and the space is designed to make each meal feel like a gathering of friends and family. Tables are set with mismatched antique china and period silverware, adding to the sense of a personal, curated experience.
La Ferme du Pré has been recognised by the Michelin Guide, receiving a recommendation. This award underscores the restaurant’s commitment to quality within its relaxed, bistro-style setting. It is a place where the past and present meet in harmony, and where every detail is meant to awaken the senses.
