The story

Qasti Green: Vegetarian Lebanese Bistro in Paris – Michelin Recommended

A Vegetarian Expression of Lebanese Tradition

Qasti Green is the 100% vegetarian sibling of Alan Geaam’s beloved Qasti bistrots, bringing the same honest Lebanese cooking to a plant-based audience. Set on rue des Jeûneurs in the 2nd arrondissement, this light-filled space offers a menu built entirely around vegetables, grains, and legumes – without sacrificing depth or generosity.

The guiding philosophy is shared with the other Qasti addresses: food that carries the flavours of a childhood in Lebanon, served with the relaxed codes of a Parisian bistro. “A cuisine of origin, shaped by personal influences,” as the team describes it. For this edition, that means reimagining classic mezzés and dishes without meat, relying on slow-cooked vegetables, fresh herbs, pulses, and sesame.

What to Expect at Qasti Green

The menu changes with the seasons, but the structure remains flexible. At lunch, a weekday formula offers two mezzés from the current selection – the style is to graze and share. For dinner, the Qasti Menu lets you choose three cold or hot mezzés followed by a dessert. Standouts from the wider Qasti repertoire (adapted to vegetarian versions) include falafels, batata harra (spiced potatoes), fatayer filled with spinach, and a chou-fleur frit with tarator sesame sauce.

Sunday brings a Lebanese brunch, entirely vegetarian: a buffet of cold and warm mezzés, a hot dish, then pastries, fruit, and fresh-pressed juices. It’s a convivial way to experience the kitchen’s range.

A Michelin-Recognised Address

Qasti Green earned its first Michelin recommendation in 2026, praised for the sincerity of its cooking and the clarity of its vegetarian focus. In a city where Lebanese food is often meat-heavy, this bistro stands out for proving that vegetables can carry the same aromatic power – and for doing so with the same warm hospitality that defines the Qasti family.
