The story
In the Haut Marais, Terra invites you to rediscover French gastronomy through conviviality and sharing. The restaurant is run by three friends – Arthur Jourdan, Robin Stucki, and Alexandre Marie – who have created a space where plates are meant to be passed around the table. The menu changes every month, offering exclusive, ephemeral creations built around the precision of a wood-fired grill – the house signature. Aged meats, delicately seared fish, free-range poultry, and inventive vegetarian dishes all come from that fire.
The open kitchen lets you watch the chefs work and exchange a few words while they cook. The dining room sits under a green-filled glass roof, creating a relaxed, almost garden-like atmosphere. This is Modern Cuisine that feels both refined and grounded – nothing fussy, just carefully sourced ingredients handled with skill. The monthly rotation means regulars always find something new.
Terra’s wine selection is exceptional: over 1,000 references of natural wines from small producers, chosen to dialogue with each dish. Whether you opt for a glass of something rare or a bottle from their curated list, the pairings are thoughtfully considered. The restaurant’s Michelin Recommended status reflects this commitment to quality without pretension – a place where good food and good wine are simply the point.
