The story
At Yory in Paris, chefs Grégory Vachet and Yeo Hyun channel their decade-long careers into a focused Korean Asian menu. They settled in the Notre Dame de Lorette neighborhood after closing Tcham Kae and Anju. Their modern cooking relies heavily on organic seasonal vegetables that shift with the market. This dedicated approach earned the kitchen a place on the 2026 Le Fooding list.
The house star arrives as a customizable bibimbap served on lacquered plates. Choose between seafood, poultry, or a fully plant-based version topped with crisp carrots, celery, cucumber, and black mushrooms. We also appreciate the eggplant glazed in savory dashi and finished with crunchy buckwheat chips. A lightly sweetened fig mochi garnished with toasted sunflower and flax seeds provides a clean finish during warmer months.
Unpainted plaster walls display a curated collection of faded commercial advertisements that set a relaxed Parisian tone. Guests sit at smooth lacquered tables designed for sharing small plates and rice bowls. The space feels intentionally unpolished, allowing the vibrant colors of the food to take center stage. Quiet conversation flows easily through the compact dining room.
