The story
Perched in the preserved village of Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce, La Table d'Armante is the gastronomic restaurant of the five-star Hotel Armancette. In March 2026, just ten months after taking the helm, Chef Thomas Vonderscher earned the restaurant its first Michelin star—a testament to his swift mastery of the alpine terroir.
Chef Vonderscher’s cooking reflects a deep respect for local produce, transforming the generosity of the region into refined modern cuisine. His menus celebrate the ingredients of the Mont-Blanc massif—vegetables, cheeses, and meats from the surrounding farms—with a precision that earned him the prestigious guide’s recognition. The cuisine is both grounded and elegant, a clear expression of place.
La Table d’Armante offers a setting that matches the ambition of the kitchen. The dining room looks out over the Dômes de Miage, and the same panorama accompanies guests who choose to dine outdoors in good weather. Breakfast is served here from 7:00 to 10:00, but the real draw is the evening menu—paced, seasonal, and built around the best the Alps can offer. A carefully curated wine list, wheelchair access, and private event spaces complete the experience.
