The story
Comète is a townhouse on the Emerald Coast in Saint-Lunaire, a short walk from the Grande Plage and the GR34 coastal path. Here, Angélina and Victor – both veterans of hospitality in France and abroad – have created a place that feels like a natural extension of the landscape. Their idea was simple: a living space where they could share their taste for good things, open all day.
The restaurant and its inner terrace welcome guests from morning to evening: breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, and dinner. The kitchen works in modern cuisine, drawing on the owners’ experience and the rhythms of the coast. From 2026, Comète will be open Monday through Friday and on public holidays, offering a continuous, unhurried service.
This approach, grounded in simplicity and a genuine connection to place, earned Comète a Michelin Recommended distinction for 2026 – a quiet nod to the quality of what Angélina and Victor are building. The recognition feels earned: here, modern cuisine is not about fuss but about letting the ingredients and the setting speak.
Beyond the dining room, Comète also offers three guest rooms (two are studios), ideal for those who want to linger. The house can be rented in its entirety for private events or family gatherings. But the heart of the place remains the restaurant, where every moment of the day finds its place.
