The story
Ombelle is the result of a meeting between Ludivine and Alexandre, two passionate individuals devoted to produce, wine, and conviviality. Their restaurant sits in Dinard, just steps from the sea and facing the Casino, in a warm, welcoming setting. The cuisine is authentic and instinctive, shaped by the seasons and the relationships they maintain with local producers. Herbs and vegetables from their own garden add a personal touch to every plate.
The menu changes with the seasons, but a glance at current offerings reveals Ombelle’s modern French character. Starters include bouchées de veau with oyster and cauliflower, a truffled organic egg, and a “return from the sea” dish paired with winter garden vegetables. Mains feature ravioli of goat cheese with kombu seaweed in a vegetable broth, a Wellington of pork with Breton foie gras and local squash, line-caught monkfish from Erquy with root vegetables and satay sauce, and diver scallops with pencil leeks, vermouth, and hazelnut. Desserts range from a mimosa with local honey and cashew to a crispy lacté with blood orange, or pear with buckwheat and dulce de leche.
Ombelle’s sincere, market-driven approach earned it a Michelin recommendation in 2026, a nod to the kitchen’s consistency and the duo’s dedication to honest, modern cuisine. The restaurant is fully wheelchair accessible.
