The story
Alexperience is the project of chef Alexandre Brasset, who trained at the two-Michelin-starred La Chèvre d’Or in Èze and the acclaimed Table des Frères Ibarboure in the Basque Country. In Combloux, he applies that pedigree to a cuisine he calls "bistronomique" – rooted in tradition, lifted by creativity, and always 100% homemade.
The menu changes every month, following the rhythm of local producers and the surrounding mountains. Dishes rely on fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from nearby artisans. The cooking is sincere and generous, with an emphasis on flavor and authenticity over fuss. That approach earned the restaurant a Michelin Recommended distinction in 2026, fitting for a place that prizes substance over show.
The setting matches the food. Alexperience sits beside the Plan d’eau Biotope, a small lake, with views that connect the plate to the landscape. The interior is convivial and unpretentious – a room where locals and visitors share the same table.
The wine list is curated with equal care. Alongside classics from France and Savoie, you’ll find organic and natural bottles, as well as craft cocktails and liqueurs. Each pairing is chosen to complement the season’s dishes.
Alexperience is open Wednesday through Saturday for lunch and dinner, and Sunday for lunch only. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.
