The story
Within the vast Domaine de Murtoli, a five-star estate in the Ortolo Valley near Sartène, La Table de la Ferme stands as the property’s flagship dining room. It earned a Michelin star for its confident, modern interpretation of Corsican cuisine, recognized for high-quality cooking that stays close to the land.
The setting reflects the Domaine’s philosophy: an “éclaté” hotel scattered across restored 17th-century shepherds’ houses. La Table de la Ferme occupies the stone farmhouse at the heart of the estate, with lounges overlooking the golf course and maquis-covered hills. The interior balances rustic stone walls with contemporary comfort.
The kitchen draws directly from the Domaine’s working farm. Small plates, or i piattini, are inspired by island traditions – a selection that changes with the seasons. The wine list highlights Corsican vintages, and the restaurant offers a Golf Gourmet package that pairs a nine-hole round with a lunch of these seasonal Corsican plates on the terrace.
The Michelin star, awarded for 2026, recognizes the kitchen’s precision and respect for local ingredients. La Table de la Ferme is open from April to December, for lunch and dinner, and welcomes guests staying on the Domaine as well as outside visitors.
This is Corsican modern cuisine at its most grounded: tied to the farm, the maquis, and the rhythms of the valley.
