The story
Le Kermer is the story of a meeting between two chefs, Arnaud Domette and Patrick Dagorne, who decided to join forces. Patrick brings deep knowledge of the local terroir; Arnaud brings a desire to share. Their partnership yields a cuisine that is personal, vegetable-forward, and rooted in the sea — a style the restaurant calls "bistrot revisited."
Located in the centre of Sarzeau on the Rhuys peninsula, the dining room blends a marine and modern decor, with a warm, relaxed atmosphere. A flowered terrace and private rooms expand the options for gatherings.
The menu gives pride of place to seafood and rigorously selected vegetables — fresh, local, and seasonal. The kitchen’s values are clear: vegetable-driven, personal cooking built around the legume and the sea, with house-made preparations. Dishes change with the seasons.
Wines are chosen by sommelier Mickaël, who seeks out singular, original productions from vineyards across France to match the kitchen’s proposals.
Le Kermer has been selected for the Michelin Guide 2026, a recognition of its quality and consistency. The restaurant also extends its philosophy through "Le Ker Mer," a food truck for events, and offers gift vouchers for those who want to share the experience.
