The story
L'Intangible is the fine-dining restaurant of Domaine de la Bousquétarié, a château estate in Lempaut, near Soual. The dining room overlooks the gardens and the potager, and in fine weather tables are set outside, allowing guests to dine surrounded by the countryside that supplies the kitchen.
The kitchen offers a single tasting menu at 80 €, built entirely around seasonal produce from the potager and regional suppliers. The menu changes frequently, reflecting what is at its best. L'Intangible is open Wednesday through Sunday, with lunch service on Saturday and Sunday, and dinner from Wednesday to Saturday.
L'Intangible has been recognised by the Michelin guide, a mark of the precision and sincerity of its modern cuisine. A book, “Ceci n’est pas un livre de cuisine”, with prefaces by Alain Ducasse and Manon Fleury and photography by Jérémy Veron, documents the gastronomy and friendships that define the domaine.
For those who wish to stay longer, the château offers guest rooms, and from summer 2026 the entire estate can be privatised for events. A second restaurant, Menina, will open in June 2026, offering a more casual lunch and dinner from Monday to Friday. But L'Intangible remains the heart of the domaine’s culinary expression, a place where modern cuisine is served with quiet confidence.
