The story
Chez Yvonne – S'Burjerstuewel is one of Strasbourg’s most celebrated winstubs. Housed in a half-timbered building steps from the cathedral, it has been serving Alsatian country cooking since 1873. Its name comes from the legendary Yvonne Haller, who turned the place into a meeting point for locals and a cross-border symbol of Franco-German friendship.
