The story
Just outside Vannes, in the quiet town of Plescop, Là DN is the kind of restaurant that feels both personal and ambitious. Chef Stéphane Jacq defines its spirit simply: “A local and generous cuisine, dishes that tell a story, and a top-notch team.” That sentence sums up the experience – a modern cuisine rooted in the produce of Brittany, served without pretence.
The kitchen is open, so you see the chef working at the pass, plating each dish. This transparency sets the tone for the whole meal: honest, direct, and focused on what matters. The dining room is convivial, and when the weather allows, the tree-shaded terrace offers a pleasant alternative.
Là DN earned a Michelin Recommended distinction in 2026, a recognition that aligns with its clear philosophy. The guide’s inspectors appreciated the restaurant’s commitment to local sourcing and the precision of Chef Jacq’s cooking. It’s a quiet nod that confirms what regulars already know.
The restaurant serves lunch from Monday to Friday (12:00–14:30) and opens for dinner on Friday evenings from 19:30. For groups, the team can arrange evening and weekend bookings, including private parties in a dedicated room that seats up to 12, or larger cocktail receptions for up to 80 guests. The space also works for business lunches, with Wi-Fi and a projector available.
Whether you come for a weekday lunch or a private celebration, the approach stays the same: modern cuisine that respects the season and the region, served in a place where the chef’s passion is visible from every seat.
