The story
In the heart of Viuz-en-Sallaz, a charming village at the foot of the Massif des Brasses, La Table d'Émilie brings a personal, family-run approach to modern cuisine. After years spent cooking in Michelin-starred kitchens across France, chefs Yoann and Émilie opened their own restaurant in 2011. Their ambition is simple: to share a cuisine that is both gourmet and creative, while staying true to the seasons and the local producers who supply their kitchen.
The dining room is warm and unpretentious. In summer, guests spill out onto a terrace and private garden with views toward the Voiron and Salève mountains—a setting that encourages the convivial, family atmosphere the team values. The chefs describe their network of small market gardeners, farmers, fishermen, and artisans as the heart of the restaurant. Every plate is an attempt to tell the story of their work, respecting the rhythm of the seasons.
This dedication to quality and craft has earned the restaurant a Michelin recommendation, a fitting nod to the precision and creativity that define the cooking here. La Table d'Émilie offers a genuine taste of contemporary Haute Savoie, rooted in local ingredients and made with care.
