The story
In the historic Asbachgasse district of Rüdesheim am Rhein, just steps from the train station, BEES Restaurant offers a fresh take on fine dining. The restaurant occupies the former Asbach Uralt production site, a setting that blends industrial heritage with contemporary comfort. A private room is available for events from Christmas parties to weddings.
The kitchen departs from classic menu structures. Instead, guests choose from categories defined by flavour profiles rather than traditional courses. The tasting menu changes regularly and might include dishes like line fish with ponzu and rice, quail with liver, spinach and apple, or a butternut squash course with potato, curry and katsuobushi. A small menu is priced at €86, the large menu at €137.
BEES follows a farm-to-table philosophy, sourcing ingredients thoughtfully. The wine list complements the seasonal offerings. The restaurant has earned a Michelin Recommended distinction, a reflection of its consistent quality and original approach.
Open Monday and Thursday through Saturday from 17:30, and Sunday from 11:00 to 15:00. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
